When we started working with Soho Road BID, our goal was simple: get out there, meet local businesses, and show them who we are. For Tariff Tribe, it was really important to be seen as a trusted partner in the community, not just another energy company. One business that really stuck with me was a restaurant on Soho Road. The owner had been struggling with sky-high gas bills for years and honestly felt stuck. They looked at me and said, “I might have to close my business”. No business owner should feel they need to close their business because of high energy bills.  Working closely with independent business owners sadly, end up overpaying for their energy bills.

We jumped in, digging into every detail of their bills using our digital platform. We checked their tariff, rates, contract dates, and even found some errors along the way. After we sorted everything out, the difference was huge. This restaurant was also struggling with debt after our bill validation we got some of the debt reduced and an affordable price plan. Their annual gas costs dropped from £12,977.33 to £8,410.23, a saving of £4,567.11 a year. For this restaurant, that wasn’t just money off a bill,  it was money they could put back into the business, the team, and the community they care about.
